For a year Adrian worked at the Gridley Herald. In addition to doing layout of the newspaper he also worked on numerous advertising projects and rebranded the newspaper. The logo was a derivative of a logo from the 1970′s with the eagle redrawn and simplified to make it a more powerful mark.
